IBM To Buy Storwize: Report
Haaretz Thinks the Deal Will Close by the End of July

IBM is supposed to be negotiating to buy Massachusetts-based online data compression ISV Storwize for $140 million according to the Israeli daily Haaretz. Sequoia Capital, Bessemer Venture Partners, Tenaya Capital, Tamares Group and Tokyo Electron have about $40 million in the six-year-old company. Its widgetry increases the storage space for networks. Haaretz thinks the deal will close by the end of July.
